Happy hypocrite

As against doctor visits and modern medicine as I am, I'm happy to already be feeling better from both. My doctor was very crazy and spaced out (walking out of the room while still talking to us), but she was a big help!! Still have a swollen face, but the pain is better.

Doctors and meds aside, I do have a daily dose of raw apple cider vinegar (I buy the Braggs brand) that includes "The Mother." The mother is what has most of the beneficial properties and it is removed through pasteurization and filtering in the regular vinegar. This is a great thing to mix with honey, cayenne, cinnamon, lemon juice, and some ginger in the morning and night. Just heat up some water (not boiling, just hot) and add the rest. Drink when it's cooled down enough. I do this once or twice a day and feel it helps keep me healthy, besides the instance I'm currently going through.

Here are some of the benefits raw ACV provides:

Beneficial ingredients in raw apple cider vinegar give it its power to make us feel better, look better and feel energized. Just look at some of the beneficial ingredients in raw apple cider vinegar:

Potassium – helps to prevent brittle teeth, hair loss and runny noses.
Pectin – helps to regulate blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.
Malic Acid – gives ACV the properties of being anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.
Calcium – helps create strong bones and teeth.
Ash – gives ACV its alkaline property which aids your body in maintaining proper pH levels for a healthy alkaline state.
Acetic Acid – It appears that this acid slows the digestion of starch which can help to lower the rise in glucose that commonly occurs after meals.
